I also heard of this, however I was also informed it would be a few years down the road. Apparently Sofie Fatale is also supposed to be a core character in it. (She's the 1/2 French 1/2 Japanese right hand woman of Oren.

I would love to see Vol.3 come together but don't hold your breath. Everyone knows how long QT takes inbetween films and he still has a few other projects down the pike....so who knows when that'll be.

That rumor surfaced before KB2 was even released. Tarantino has made mentio of wnating to at a later date do a third installment, but its not even close to realistic for a while.

Knowing Tarentino's style, we won't see it for a good par of years.
