I can understand some Tagalog (Filipino) but I cannot speak it

English, Sign Language, some german, and a few words/phrases here and there from several other languages.
But English and Sign take up most of my languistic skills.

I can speak Japanese, little bit of Korean, English (fairly well), and I am trying to learn Sanscrit at school. In Japan, they started to teach Sanscrit in a few school, which is great. I love the language, but I know like just a few words.Originally Posted by Innerhell
@Innerhell: Wow! I have a few Filipino friends here. They are teaching me a little be about Tagalog, which is really cool. Oh, did you know that a lot of words in Filipino come from Sanscrit? I think that is really cool. I am taking a language history class of Asian countries, so I know a little history behind all Asian languages.
