That's just not a tearjerker imho
I suppose it hits different people in many different ways!!! For me it was the fact that someone actually went through all the suffering to help save us!!!!!

There is no proof it actually went that way.
    edit: ^bad choice of words^

I meant that a film doesn't (necessarily) show exactly how it happened.

And you can't prove it didn't.

For those who believe it is a very emotional movie. I imagine a movie on the life of Mohammad or Budda might hit others of their faith the same way.

That's the whole point of a thread like this. What have you seen that touches you enough to make you cry? Evidently in your case it's large hairy apes. Go figure.

    Yeah go figure...

And me saying that there is no proof was a comment on this:

Whether you believe it or not there is plenty of proof. However when it comes to believeing historical documents, well, that's entirely up to the individual.

I said "And you can't prove it didn't." in order to attempt to avoid an arguement on divinity and to suggest that you respect her belief. I'm hoping you will allow the thread to continue without a threadjack on the subject.

So I repeat myself: "That's the whole point of a thread like this. What have you seen that touches you enough to make you cry? Evidently in your case it's large hairy apes. Go figure."

I cried 3 times in "Finding Neverland", like when so-and-so dies, and when Peter is tearing up his play b/c he hates u-know-who for lying about u-know-who's illness. Then when "Uncle Jim" shows u-know-who Neverland. my friend Carla was looking at me like, "Not AGAIN!" I cry in stupid movies. like Spirit, with the stallion of the Cimeron or something like that. and Black Beauty, and Moulin Rouge. I never bawled in "Walk to Remember" like most girls. sorry.
