(I am called...) hon'in gozen ko-rudo... -What is your name? (What are you called?) Nan temae ko-rudo? ---fun stuffs--- Onimusha= Demon Warrior Masakaze= Air God I'll add more and Mayura-chan, Natsumi-chan feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. |

Also means sorry. -sayonara: See you later. -ogenki desu ka?: How are you? -Genki-desu: I am doing fine. -Anata wa?: And you. -odaijini: Take good care (like Kedar-kun always says). -Mata ashita: See you tomorrow. -Ittekimasu: I am going out. (Children say it to their parents when they leave to school) -Tadaima: I am back. That should do for now. Don't want to make things to complicated. Also, I tried to group them in order, but I am really tired, so I might not have done a good job. Sorry.

Just so you understand the meaning of anata ha nannensei desu ka better, nan-nen means "what year" and sei is student (seito). I think more detailed explanations of each phrase are necessary to help those learning, or they'll just go out spouting phrases and not knowing how to answer. And it should be hajimemashite, watashi ha ... desu. Your name should come before the "desu". The "watashi ha" isn't really necessary, you could just go "Marina desu" and it'd be fully understandable that you are a person whose name is Marina. ![]() | |
