Ooh, yeah. I'm getting better at Kansai-ben, but I can't for the life of me get the hand of Okinawa-ben! It's like, やぁ → あなた and 行かんばぁ → 行ってなくて... There are a whole lot of other weird words I discovered in Tenipuri, still trying to make sense of them.

That should do for now. Don't want to make things to complicated. Also, I tried to group them in order, but I am really tired, so I might not have done a good job. Sorry.
Nice!!! Well done, Negami. Haha. All kids trying to learn Japanese, heh? Haha. Very well. First learn the basics, and then I will employ my professional skills to teach Japanese!

It can be spelt as ohayo or ohayou. However, the most accurate way to write it down is to say, ohayou because for the reader it gives a hint to pronounce the word correctly. You shouldn't miss the 'uuu' sound.

Re: Lesson in Japanese

here are the numbers from 1 - 10! ^_^

1 - ichi
2 - ni
3 - san
4 - yon or shi
5 - go
6 - roku
7 - shichi or nana
8 - hachi
9 - kyuu
10 - juu

here are some commonly asked questions! ^_^

asking and saying your age in japanese:

Q - nansai desu ka?
A - # sai desu.

asking and saying your phone number:

Q - denwa bangou wa?
A - #### no #### desu (the numbers may vary depending on which country you live in. in australia, we have 8 numbers in total, so therefore, we have to put the 'no' in between)

asking and saying where you live:

Q - doko ni sunde imasu ka?
A - PLACE ni sunde imasu (you can substitute your country into the 'place', or city, or whatever you like ^_^)

asking and saying your nationality:

Q - okuni wa doko desu ka?
A - COUNTRY jin desu. (the country in which you were born, or came from, should be efficient enough to substitute for the 'country'. jin just means nationality ^_^)

asking and saying your favourite subject:

Q - suki na kamoku wa nan desu ka?
A - suki na kamoku wa SUBJECT desu. (someone's already told us the japanese for different subjects, so i won't repeat it. if there's a subject you'd like to know, just pm me and i'll tell you what i know ^_^)

Re: Lesson in Japanese

"ohayo" is the more informal one, right? Since...

ohayo → おはよ / おはよっ
ohayou→ おはよう → お早う

Sorry, my logic here is kinda warped, but this is what I've always thought, so.... did I get the right impression, kedar?
