Thread: Is This Life Not A Dream?

I've never liked those waking-up-but-you're-really-still-dreaming type dreams, they make me think stuff like this:

I awake to find the world's the same
I have no wealth, I have no fame
I cannot stop bullets, I cannot fly
But for none of this do I stop and sigh

I get up slowly, still in a haze
I meander downstairs like a rat in a maze
I see the same sights, nothing's amiss
And yet things shouldn't be quite like this...

I awake again, my mind a bit unkempt
I do the same things that I had just dreamt
I ponder how normal things had just seemed
And can't help but think, is this life not a dream?
