hmm... I always thought a spear or axe. Maybe light tipped arrows. ^_^ neat topic.
So, another dreadfully old thread topic by me - revived! ^_^
What other weapons would you like to see applying the same principle as the light-saber? Of course, referring to Star Wars.
I've always thought "Light-Nunchakus" or "Light-Chakus" would be very cool. Any ideas ... be creative...

Daggers not a short sword a stealthy type of dagger
edit also diffrent types of swords like katanas samurai swords double edge blade etc...

I was trying to remember dagger! lightsaber sickles. A dark jedi with a red sythe and those cloak things? That'd be awesome. Like a grim jedi reaper.
Maybe an ball and chain light saber
