    Little Britain

Has this show made it over to the States?
I had heard that it was going to be shown over there but to be honest I think alot of the humor would be lost because it is mainly based on localisms and dialects but I am also curios to see HOW and IF it would work aimed at a difference audience!

    Has anyone else seen it?
Here is the BBC website incase I am talking nonsense! XD

Little Britain? Sure, i've seen it.

I thought it was funny for the most part, but I really don't think a forgien audience would appreciate it the same way we do. Besides, most UK shows that make it over to the US flop anyway.

Hmmm... He's not technically human, so it wouldn't really be like cannibalism...

Sadly this is true unless the British humour (mainly based on sarcasm) is accepted and understood!

    Um, it's a series, not a film.

And I think that Monty Python is probably the last Brittish thing that will be loved by the world. Shame really.

    Re: Little Britain

I'm pretty sure the humor would be lost on americans, because one of the main reasons I found it funny was because it reminded me of people and events near where I live....Still it is one hell of a show!
