Yes, 'tis I, cheezisgoooood...you know...that one guy...the one that you've never heard of or seen in your life.

I'm fairly new to the anime community, having only started my DVD collection two months ago, and only having started watching the stuff 5 months ago.

For those of you who don't like reading entire posts, I'll quickly summarize my interests:

Favorite anime series of all time: Trigun

Favorite anime movie of all time: Spirited Away

Mangas I have read: *cricket chirps*

Anime series I have seen: Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, FullMetal Alchemist, Serial Experiments Lain, Paranoia Agent, Boogiepop Phantom, Elfen Lied, Samurai Champloo, Last Exile, Hellsing, FLCL, Outlaw Star, Air, Noir.

Anime movies I have seen: Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies, Akira, Perfect Blue, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop the Movie, and uhh...*ahem* Pokemon the First Movie.

Favorite movie of all time: A tie between The Shining and Airplane!

Favorite video game of all time: Half-Life 2

More about me: For a long time I thought anime was a bunch of constepated, girly shit like the turd on Toonami, but I was recommended to watch Adult Swim late night on Saturday one night, and Paranoia Agent happened to catch my eye. Loved the stuff. It was from that moment on I realized this stuff could actually be entertaining and intelligent, moreso than American cartoons. Since then anime has been my new diversion and new evening activity. I decided to join so I could maybe talk about my favorite shows or at least the ones that I've seen with other people for a few minutes here and there.

I just read the board guidelines. Apparently all cursing has been prohibited, but why was the curse word in my post not covered by four stars or something?
