The Love I despise/A poem by Brent
The Love I despise
They always talk about you
I never new who you were
I could never match the the face to the name
I always new you were there,
But I never knew what you were,
You were always there for me,
I looked up to you,
I fell in love with you,
And I now know who you are,
You are my uprising and my downfall,
U are mine.
At first you brought joy into my life,
And you banished all of my sorrow and fear,
But this love is all lust,
There is no romantic kiss,
No kind words,
No sweetness.
I was blind but now I see,
I see what you really are,
You are a monster ment to be slain,
So as I point my dagger toward your chest,
I think of how revenge is sweet,
And all the times you said you cared,
I know im going to h*ll for this,
But it will all be worth it.
