Moving to Anime/Manga Forum

rayearth is good. i prefer the manga to the animated series. even though the characters' deep and endless friendship kinda....comes out of nowhere.

I've never read the manga, but I have seen the anime. I've come to enjoy Rayearth. Each character was my favorite and I love the story line.

I agree with asraiwaters. I prefer the manga over the animated series. It strays too much from the original story line. I mean most of it is in there, but there's too much extra stuff that wasn't in the manga that they put in the anime.

One of the things that the CLAMP manga team like to do with their anime conversions is to add something new to the anime, so that people who have already read the popular manga series would have some motivation to watch the anime. As an example, they added a new major character to Cardcaptor Sakura Anime series...
