Thread: Mai-Otome vs Mai-Hime

I liked mai-hime and have seen the first episode of mai-otome. I say that mai-hime is much better. i just didn't like otome.
I think it is a forcful continue of mai hime; i will have to agree with u there.

I'm not too huge a fan of the "alternate universe" kind of deal where characters are recycled into a different plot. So far Otome has yet to impress me, but thinking back, I wasn't too fond of Hime until around episode 16 or 17 when all hell started to break loose. Because of that I'm going to hold my final verdict of Otome, as it just might turn out to be an awesome series if given the time like Hime.

Mai Hime has been licensed by Bandai, so you'll have to wait until they release DVD's to see it.

Mai-HimE: about girls with special powers, they can summon huge monsters to defeat a unknown enemy. It´s good, but you need watch all anime, some episodes are really boring. It´s sometimes fun, lot of sarcasm, and nice images on it.

Mai-Otome: same girls with different powers, I dunno if they can summon huge monsters, the enemy is unknown too. It´s boring until now...

I've only seen My-HiME and read the Manga (Compleatly different story then the anime), Anyone know where I can find fan-subs of My-Otome? (Bit torrent preferably)
