I really think it should've been in Japanese. +__+
Making it an English movie just makes it a little... unauthentic-seeming, but oh well, I'm sure it'll be great. The trailer gave me goosebumps. ^^

I thought it was pretty good. I read the book this previous summer.
I really liked the costumes. But, couldn't they have made her eyes a little more like a silvery blue?

I saw the movie over christmas break. I liked it, but was disappointed. So much build up, so much of a depressing outlook on life, and then it ended, happily at that. I am reading the book right now, and I'm eating it up. Did you have a different impression?

I thought they did a good job doing it in english because you could tell that Sayuri(chiyo) had not been westernized. While Matasume(not sure of spelling) was westernized with her accent. It showed that japanese people did begin to speak like americans as soon as they came in.

Full Metal Alchemist sucks. Wanna try and prove me wrong?
