Great series, i wasn't too big on Sons of Liberty but it was FAR from a bad game....just my least favorite. Out of the 3 i still favor the original for psx

I like sons of liberty better, idont know why but it was different.

One of the coolest game series ever.
I think MGS3 is the best game in the series because MGS1 used alot of elements from MG2 and therefore wasn't as original.
The metal gear series is just great for people who want to play a kickass game with a film like story.

People who only want stealth can play Splinter Cell and people who want the cool story and memorable characters should play MG...

Definitely my favourite game series. The story, the characters, the settings, the game had anything for a average gamer. You could learn much things from MG(S) like i did. The game was short in a way, any how one of the best game series in the history books.

wait you dont mean that really crappy movie with a guy in it called snake pliskin do you? that was the worst rip off of metal gear that i ever saw...it didnt even have a metal gear in the whole movie.

Anyway, the MGS series is alright by me, I can't fathom the number of hours I spent playing the first Metal Gear Solid. I really need to pick up Sons of Liberty for my XBox and I'm certainly grabing Snake Eater when Konami gets around to publishing it for my system of choice.
