Actually Mr. bunny, (if i can call you that) the creator of the Metal Gear Series (Hideo) openly admittied to being a HUGE fan of the character Snake Plissken (Escape From NY & Escape From L.A.) and he also admitted that he took alot of elements from Kurt Russels character and put them into Solid Snake. By the way Escape From NY came out in 1981.

The 'draw' scene alone was worth the price of admission.

I think that Snake eater has the best theme song. I liked it so much I bought the sound track. It is two disks so it is worth the money. It also has bonus tracks like an Old Metal Gear theme that is played on guitar.
