So what do you think of the strange and funny trailer (to be seen at IGN or Gamespot or something like that)?
It's so darn funny, about Hideo, main characters, splinter cell, etc.

The new images show a cast with alot of known faces like Raiden, Solid Snake, Meryl, Ocelot, Otacon, Vamp (sadly), Olga (is that her?), Big Boss (or Solidus)...

You can also see MGS3 Subsistence... I hope I won't have to but a new one...

Hmm... I don't know. it seems a little... old. I don't really like the Metal Gear Solid Games because it's just continuous repitition.

MGS3 had alot of innovation...
And the trailer is NOT made with next gen stuff, it's the same type of graphics as MGS3.

Well judging from the trailer, they don't have anything/a whole lot yet.
Just basic storylines and the confirmation of Hideo and Solid Snake as the leading character...

when will the game come out/why didn't they wait for ps3 and i thought that solidus died at the end of mgs2?

i wouldn't even count on snake being main character 100%, after what they pulled with raiden in mgs2.

only thing that's sure/confirmed is hideo will be behind it, since they did give him his own Kojima productions thing and all.

in mgs3 you use snake all the way through so i doubt snake would be left out in the cold this time around,plus mgs2 was a load of crap

but the point was kojima DID keep raiden a secret all the way until the game was on store shelves. i don't think there are many cases with anything so secretive. there was absolutely no leaks, no rumors, and caught everyone by surprise.

assuming u didn't read any previews or reviews before playing mgs2, u load the game u see raiden, u'll go wtf lol.

it sure as hell caught me by surprise after i completed the tanker level with snake and started the big shell level with raiden i was like..."this is a massive ripoff of mgs1" and after further play i got very annoyed with the 'raiden beats the hell out of multiple metal gear ray's' level and........sorry. im getting a bit carried away.

the MGS 4 trailer they showed was cool, the plane with the foxhound symbol got me all excited.

. Also the race to the seat with the main character was funny. Raiden and Snake fighting for the seat. Wonder what its going to be about.
