Thread: mortal combat a great game or a bad one?

YessSS! Mortal kombat id say was the greatest fighting game ever, pwnd street fighter! Except after mortal kombat 2 the 3rd one went downhill....but mortal kombats still good, i still play it!!!

I use to love playing Mortal Combat

A, B , A , C, A , B , B ........The blood cheat for MK1 for sega lol. I remember that to this day lol. Mortal Kombat was awesome! the movie was awesome too but now MK blows really hard they made it to complicatied.

I remember Mortal Kombat being absolutely huge when it came out. They kept running an add, with all these teens gathering in the streets of some huge city, and one of them shouting the "Mortal Kombat" phrase from the game...

Then when the game DID come out, all the parent groups got into a fit over the violence, which made the game even more of a hit.

I agree that the MK series did go downhill, and I only really played the first two or three, and then forgot about the series....but my friend has a ps2, and he was playing MK Deception, and Shao Lin monks, and it got me interested in the game again. I had no clue what was going on in Deception, so I asked him to fill me in on the storyline, which was pretty cool. And Shao Lin monks is one of the sweetest games evah!! Especially playing as Kung Lao, cuz you do this sort of Matrix style power attack.....it r wicked....wicked indeed.

yupp th newerr mortal kombat games coming out are much
better then the ones that came out for ps and n64! ive rented them
and the graphics are pretty good and gameplay got a lil easier then
mk4 and stuff! and kung lao is sweet, his the charactor i play!
