Thread: Moulin Rouge

Excellent film. At first glance of the trailer i thought the thing would annoy me to the point of mental collapse.....but i was wrong. I saw the movie in theatres and i really really enjoyed it, the style is great and well executed....and when it came to emotional scenes (especially the ending) it hit all the right buttons. Good stuff

I was just dragged into watching it in the theatre. Turned out the movie was fantastic, especially the songs! The story is great and entertaining, funny in most of the first half. All in all, it was worth the watch! And you can tell they put a lot of effort into making the film, with all the performances and costumes in the movie. Lots of dancing and singing - that's what makes it so amusing aside from the fact that the plots are well executed.

great film, had no idea what the whole film was about but got it off a friend and it was brill!! i love all the songs in it, so good

I absolutely adore Moulin Rouge!!! it's great to watch and get drawn into the story! My fave part is the Roxanne bit, i would love to be one of those dancers!!!!!

Agreed, but I waited till it came on T.V. to watch it.

The movies well writen but i don't like musicals at all. But the story line was good.

First time watching it I hated it. Then I ended up being bored one night and watched it again. Now I love it. Story line it great, loved the music, very emotional, and I loved the style they used for it.
