i wouldnt, because its too populated. Anime is the only thing thats a hell of alot cheaper, everything else is actually more expensive.
Do you know Japanese? If not, then don't bother. Oh, and living in Japan is hella expensive.
*cough* DVD's are more expensive in Japan and usually come with a much lower episode count than North America, Especially if you ever plan to buy an OVA series. If you're moving to Japan for that then you're an idiot~!Quote:

^ditto. but many animes are cut alot for language and violence and sometimes sexually in America, but Japan's standards for censorship is quite different. That's an attraction for some, but I still wouldn't want to LIVE there. I'll stay an american.
I wanna work with some of the animation companies in Japan, that's one of the reasons I'm planning on taking animation in collage, other than that I don't really want to live in Japan, unless I have to. Yet I would love to visit.
Grumble Grumble Grumble
The reality is that it is VERY VERY DIFFICULT to get a work visa to be able to live in Japan. In order for a Japanese company to be able to get a work visa to hire a foreigner, they have to be able to show to the goverment that it is not possible for a native Japanese to be able to fill the position. Japan (with the exception of ethnic Korean) does not have any significant racial minority groups in their population. And from what their seeing from US television and movie production, they'd probably want to keep it that way.
I'd love to visit, tha's it, I'd miss th US ways........ but I also would miss the Dominican Republic
