1) Japanese language: You'll need to be fluent in Japanese language to live there, since not everyone there knows enough english nor want to speak english all the time (contery to what's in anime).
2) Citizenship: It's harder to get a citizenship in Japan. Example of one person getting one. (of course cannot verify the truthness of this :P) http://www.debito.org/naturalization.html
3) Job: It's very hard to get a job there. A lot of people there aren't doing jobs they want or doesn't have a job. There are a lot of homeless people in Japan and you don't see them much in public, but there are a lot.
4) Initial living expense is very high. Moving there takes lots of money. Such as the price of a home is very high for a very small space and limited housing.
5) The society and mannerism is very different from the west. You'll need to learn it and pratice it ( and you can't learn them all from anime).
Of course there are more reasons. Visiting is just more practical for most people.
Well, I'm not sure I would want to live there, but sure, I'd love it visit Japan. As a matter of fact, where I live, if you join this Martial Arts Academy (Which I'm in. It's called Warrior Concepts) You can go to Japan with those who sign up for the trip and you can be in Japan for a total of two weeks. Sadly, I couldn't go. It cost 2,600 dollars. -.-"
one day we can....... one can only hope and dream for itQuote:
