Is the movie industry going to the crapper?

My fellow anime people...you know I didn't realize til now that movie industry is kinda going down the crapper. Tell if I'm wrong but is there alot movies being remade. I just saw the preview to the movie" The Hills have Eyes". That movie came out in the early 80's not to mention other remakes such as The Longest Yard, Texas Chainsaw, bernstein bears,King KONG and etc. And some of the movie sequels don't do good as well as new concept ideas for movies. I'm so tired of hearing the original was better then the sequel's and remaking movies. The movie's I hear doing well are the ones with animation.
Is the movie industry going to crapper??? are they running out of ideas?

yeah it kinda is goin down. all these movies ive seen are awful!

like Hostel

first 30 minutes- PORN
second 30 minutes- BLOODY PORN
last 45 minutes- BLOODY

appealing, no?

I have to agree with you on the American side of films. Most of those that are released nowadays is pure scheisse.

But there are always those (few) especially great ones.

remakes are common now, sequals just arent any good, and horror movies have hit bottom for me

I belive that all the movies have just became all the same and if you can't find one from here i bet there was one a long time ago. At least they left the good ones alone, Pulp Fiction.
