    Re: ms3hg43d.exe problem

    It's weird, I did get a Russian site, but also a link to a British site (clicky)

    I hope the help that later user gives are good, as I haven't got many malware/spyware problems on my PC at all. In theory by reading the text it seems that it should have helped by deleting startup/IE options and files. If you haven't got Microsoft Anti-spyware, you can just forget about that part (^_^)

    [EDIT]
    If you are using IE with no particular reason for it (incompatibility issues etc) I suggest you try one of them, as IE is the main reason of malware/spyware intrusion. The most used are Mozilla Firefox (clicky) and Opera (clicky). Both have tighter security settings for internet browsing, but I like Firefox better. It's a matter of likes and dislikes, though - as they're both safer than IE.

    Re: ms3hg43d.exe problem

    To delete ms3hg43d.exe you need:

    - Boot it in safe mode;
    - Run: Regedit
    - go to:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run]
    and search for any suspect thing, delete it.

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run]
    and search for any suspect thing, delete it.

    *IMPORTANT* If you dont know what you are deleting just keep that register.

    I hope it works for you.

    Gluck

    Re: ms3hg43d.exe problem

    First I would not mess with your register at all unless you are very familiar with it, second your problem isn't ms3hg43d.exe that is just a clone of the real problem, which may not even have the same name. I say this because Norton has no reference of it, and by the name I would say it is a randomized clone.

    When you run your spyware removal utility and virus scanner do they only find that file? What do they do with it? (I.E. quarantine, option to remove that doesn't work, tells you it can't do anything)
