The Museum of Modern Art in New York is showing Anime!

Can you believe that some of the big wigs out there are finally getting the hint? Anime is a modern art for sure and now there's proof! Talk about a lot of good stuff to watch too...

The aperication of Anime as an artform is finally being noticed I guess.
Why just last year, me and my friends attended an art exhibition for Production IG (Ghost in the Shell, Jinroh, Dead Leaves, Kill Bill etc)

They had production sketchs, artwork and videos and such, and live sized models of the Major and Tachikoma from GITS SAC.
It was small... yet really good. *we wanted to ride the Tachikoma through* ^^

I'd love to see that exbo... I love Studio Ghibli and I believe they most defanitly are a good choice to honour with a exhibition.

maybe we'll see more anime coming out on theaters
instead of straight-to-video/DVD
