I'm walking down the secluded road,
and i see a pretty face.
your kind hearted,
and listen to my pain,
like none before you.
we slowly walk,
and fall for each other,
feeling as if we're one.
i lean in but pause,
and you wonder why,
as you you finish what i started.
the kiss more gentle,
then a rose petal,
and softer than silk.
we part lips,
then part ways,
soon after i get your name.
i then see a wild rose,
and pick it and run towards you.
but i don't see you anymore.
i follow the only road,
to a graveyard and i pause.
a gravestone catches my glimse,
and a tear breaks from my eye.
a picture of you,
resides on the stone...
the date of your death today,
and again i'm left all alone.
i lay the rose on the grave,
and then leave...
so is my fate,
or at least at times,
so it seems......
so grey the soul in me,
and so numb my heart...
ladies and gentleman,
this is my biggest fear.
