Naruto on Toonami - Page 2

First off, if you haven't seen the dubbed version of Naruto, then you'll be lost here. (Dubbed=English version).

Just finished watching it, now I want to rant. My sister and I both agree that the Japanese version is better. The animation is the same, but here are a few differences.
1. The beginning and ending songs (WHY?!)
2. They took out the nosebleeds.

The voices, oh man! Naruto's voice is done by a girl. What happened to the rumors of Johnny Yong Bosch? He would have been better. Naruto's voice is like talking through the nose.
What else...I don't know. I guess I just watched the Subbed Version too much and I'm just complaining.

But I want to hear what you guys think. Do you like it, do you not. Why?

Not naruto please dear god. WHY!!!!!!

Please PLEASE i beg all naruto fans PLEASE buy the manga and never watch the filth they call dubbed ep's. Or at least buy the original dvd's with japanese voices. "though the japanese voices are not too good... it's better than any CN dubb's"

I knew this thread was coming.... T_T. GO MANGA!!

Hahahaha, told ya. I will buy the original japanese version, but i think I wil also watch the dubed version while I'm on my computer at night. I don't have anything better to do, so why not. I'm personaly looking forward to reading the manga, It should be beter by far where the voices are in your head.

I'm sticking to the manga. I didn't really like the dubbed, and the Japanese was only slightly better in my opinion..

I actually liked it, even though I saw the original. At least they kept that seduction technique. Though I admit the voice was worse than the original. I really prefer his natural whiny voice to the English. And the pronounciation was off, too. That ticked me off some. But all in all, not too bad for CN.

And yes! I'm not the only one who hated the dubbed Naruto. And I'm glad I started this thread. lol.
I'm sticking with the Mangas and the Subbed. I might watch the Dubbed if I get bored, and maybe to give my eyes a rest from reading. lol. Or I might just put it on mute to watch it.

That's what I forgot the pronouncations. That got on my nerves so bad! I wanted to take a baseball bat and go find the person who decided on how to pronounce the names.
If they are going to make a dubbed of a subbed, atleast watch the subbed to know how to pronounce the names!

at least, the intro/outro rocked
it's not as lame as One Piece's and Zatch Bell's

the dubbing?
it's common for little kids like Naruto to be voiced by girls and women
another example would be Goku/Gohan from DBZ/GT
heh, the voice fits the age
what bothered me the most out of all the dubbing was Iruka's
Quintonn Flynn (MGS2's Raiden) sounds wimpy like always
same goes for Kakashi's (you can hear him in the some of the previews/commercials)

hopefully David Lucas/Steven Blum
(a.k.a Spike Spiegel, Darcia, Mugen, Kazuma)
won't disappoint as the voice actor for Zabuza

sycrd wasn't too bad for CN but naruto... i mean im a naruto fan, and i ahted seeing naruto being displayed as a kiddy anime on cn.... i think it's time to get these companies to start making anime as good as the manga.
