I don't have anime network, so I was sooo excited to hear that it was comming on Cartoon Network. Everybody kept on talking about how awesome it was. I thought Naruto was cute... until I heard his voice...
Is the japanese version really better.

The main reason they probably took out the nosebleeds was because it's a cultural reference that most Americans wouldn't get. They took out a bit of blood as well, Iruka spat up a small amount of blood on Naruto's face in the sub (when he took the shuriken in the back) in the dub I saw no blood being spat.

Much dissapointment! I hope they don't screw up Gaara's voice or Orochimaru's.

I really did not like the dubbed english version to much. My reason why is because of the voices, especially Naruto's . When I first heard him talk it was like wow. It pretty much put me to sleep even though I was dying before to watch I was disappointed. I still like Naruto and I'll continue to read the manga.

it flat out sucks...the voices were bad, but the opening theme was ok, and how does having no nosebleeds work?....the only thing i'm glad about is that they didn't take out the sexy no jutsu....oh yeah...
