Thread: Naruto - Ugly battle!

The animation style in that episode was different from the normal Kishimoto-style of the anime. But that was a bad thing? IMO no!
That one , and a few others back, were given to an other studio to animate. And they delivered constant motion, fluid movements and great special effects.

Sasuke's face was... funny in some cases, but the action was lightning fast so i liked it.

i don't know why most of you are saying the graphics were bad in that episode, because i myself, along with a whole group of people, have agreed that 'it had some of the best animation seen in recent anime. it was drastically different than the normal anime, and clearly better than what they normally dish out.'

'133 hardly seems like part of the anime, and the seam between the end of 133 and the beginning of 134 is painful. you're expecting the same great animation, but you're not only dissapointed when it isn't, the character and the way they fight changes entirely.'

it was probably one of the best fights in the series so far, so i doubt they'd make it of poor quality to save money.

if you look back on the previous main fights in the series, you'll notice that they did it on purpose, it's like they have a normal drawing mode and a fighting drawing mode...

examples;

the fight between Orochimaru and The Sandaime(3rd Hokage) are being drawed the same way...

The drawings during those big, important events are actually better than usual. The animation is better too.
You just don't like it.

Ow I seeee.. didn't notice that the same thing happened with orochimaru and the 3rd hokage.. Well I did mentioned that the animation was very good ^_^.. so guess I have to take my words back about the graphics, since I didn't knew that they did that on purpose, thought it was a short of time or so.. Aah well, Naruto is awsome! No further comment ( I can be )

I actually liked how it was done. It looked as though it had more of an artists impression
