hey, title pretty much says it all. i need a new series to watch. i've seen some reviews of the "hottest ones" but nothing interests me now. i'm lookin for comedy, with maybe a love story or just straight up action. haha, thanx for any input

If your asking for advice on Anime series to watch, it would be helpful to list what series you've already seen, and which ones you liked, so EAO members won't waste time advising you to see series that you HATE, and series you've already SEEN...
here are some that I tried out on a whim, and enjoyed:
Someday's Dreamers
Ai Yori Aoshi (Although, I strongly suggest you pick up the Manga, its better)
I, My, Me: Strawberry Eggs
Fruits Basket
Onegai Teacher (Please Teacher)
Onegai Twins (Please Twins)
Gantz is a must see if you are looking for action.
Comedy and love:Maburaho.

for comedy/romance: Fruits Basket, Love Hina, Ranma 1/2, maybe Full Metal Panic or Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, and lots more but as LenMiyata said, u should tell us what u've watched already. most of those have some action also
