Neon Genesis Evangelion

I just got done watching all of it and I gotta say I was at a loss. I loved it but the ending confused me to death. Am I alone here? Can anyone explain it? None the less it truley is the greatest anime ever

Couldn't tell ya, I only have the first couple DVD's. It is awsome though, and requires a certain level of detail to understand the whole thing.

Well then you and I aren't really on the same page then because it gets extremly hard to follow in the last 2 episodes

Well the last two episodes were confusing, but if you see the movie, you will undertsand it better. They sort of replaced those last two with the movie. Pretty much earth went bye bye, except for Shinji, and Asuka because of there Eva's. As a side note, Kaworu, Asuka, and Rei are really hot.

Ok well in that case I think I prefer the anime ending but I want to see it anyways. Why Asuka? Rei and Shinji should be together. By the way you do know that Kaworu is a guy, right?

Okay well I just love everybody, and it would be kind of gross if Shinji, and Rei got together because Rei is pretty much the reincarnated form of his mother. And I know Kaworu is a guy. I'm bisexual so what do you expect? HE'S HOT.

I was confuse when i finished watching Evangelion and i was more after watching the Ova the Rebirth and Death of Evangelion. At the end you see that the only humans left after the third impact are shinji and Asuka, but near the end you see that shinji tries to kill asuka because he thinks that she is not real and there ends the movie. In conclusion, after the third impact shinji becomes adam the first human created by god and Asuka becomes lilith, adam's wife.

watch them backwords then forwards then watch the movies then it sould make sence.

well, i have been told by some hard core eva fans i know, that at the end of the Eva movie, Azuka is actually Rei and Misato combined, most got this conclusion because in the last part when just Shinji and Azuka were left in the world, Azuka had Brown eyes instead of her regular blue eyes, either way, both the series and movie endings are pretty confusing.

Some people believe that she's his mother but I do not. I just believe that she reminded Gendo of his wife plus how could she be her reincarnation if she was born before Yui Ikari died?
