After skipping last month for releasing security updates, Microsoft makes up it this month by releasing a slew of patches for Windows, Internet Explorer, and Office this Month.

Even if you're using Firefox as your primary browser, it's still a good idea to keep your computer current with updates and patches. The flawed code still remains on your machine if unpatched, and can still be exploited by malicious websites, worms, and email trojans. So once again, it's time to get your Windows Update going!!!

Skipping last month? didn't they update a few things before as well as release their spy-ware dealy as beta?

There was no Window's Update release for the month of March for Windows XP (but there was one for Windows XP Server). There was also a newer version of the Spyware Removal Beta (but since it is a BETA release, it's not part of the 'Official' recommended install list). There was also an emergency patch release towards the end of February, so Microsoft may have felt that another official release for XP Home/Pro only a week or so after that was unnecessary...Originally Posted by jao
