That sounds sooooo great. I love Miyazaki's films-------------a man with great imagination. We have the DVDS for every single movie of his. I especially love the movie: The Castle In The Sky, the storyline and the characters are so memorable. My little sister loves KiKi's Delivery Service, I love the art. Thank you very much LenMiyata-garu for giving us some heads up on that.

I'm glad to see Howl's Moving Castle coming out. It had such a limited release that I missed the small window that it was available here. I'll be interested to see Whisper of the HEart, as The Cat Returns is probably my favorite Myazaki film...

Totoro! Finally.... I've been waiting so long for this movie to come out.
My memory may be wrong... but isn't this the last batch of Ghibli films to come out?

Only Yesterday is the only one I can think of that's left.

According to the Nausicaa.net listings, 'Only Yesterday' is the last of Studio Ghibli/Disney licenses. But there are several Studio Ghibli TV movies that were not included in the license, and have never been distributed in US Region 1, such as 'The Ghiblies', 'Ocean Waves' and the musical 'On Your Mark'

Re: The Next Miyazaki DVD Releases

On Your Mark is on the recently (last week) released Ghibli ga Ippai Special Short Short R2 DVD. I doubt though that this one will be released outside of Japan, same for the newest Studio Ghibli Documentation DVD (Miyazaki Hayao to Ghibli Bijutsukan) and the old ones.

Anyway, any Ghibli fan should get them, as well as the R2 DVDs for the movies, since all of them (except for the short specials dvd) have english subs on them you won't even miss anything. :)
