Thread: None of this matters

we're all just a group of otakus having a nice, educated conversation about life and current events
it's like a bar and we're all a bunch of drunks
bitching about what's going on in the news and saying "if I was that guy..." or "if I ran the country..."
stuff like that
it might seem pointless if you look at the gist of things
but who knows...
some of us might actually do something about it
...if only the majority of us weren't still tied down to our parents...

So I take it you consider yourself unimportant... But consider this... The results of the last presidential elections could have been changed (or was changed...) by the votes of a few hundred 'unimportant people'. If the debate thread topics can get some people to think about the issues, and care enough to express their views in the ballot box, then it has accomplished something...
