    1. Yes its very important to see the first one before this one, as characters from the first play an important role in this one.

    2. I have the poster that was banned.

    3. I liked it. It had a lot of twists in it, and some of the deaths were pretty gory, but I don't think it distracted from the film. Some of the stuff in the movie seemed a bit rushed, but overall I enjoyed it. I liked it more than the first one, and the acting was vastly improved.

After Moon's review I must scramble some money to see this fine movie. Long as the acting has improved I'm all for it. Just a lil bit worried bout the rushed scenes.

Well, it wasen't too rushed, it just seemed like for a couple of deaths you're thinking..."well they could've done better than that". Just seemed like they sorta ran out of ideas for crazy deaths (which is what Saw is famous for) and just threw anything in. But its definitly worth seeing.

I'm sorry for not writing my review last night, but after the movie i got shit-faced drunk and everything else was a blurry nightmare. Anyway, I really liked this one, even though it wasn't as suspensful as the first film it kept alot of the original tension and atmosphere. The style of the flick is almost seamless, it's just as if the film could've continued right after part 1 and not have anyone even notice it. Well done. Alot of good gory deaths, great moody score and the ending was brilliant. I think the films "twist" is great and leads the series down a whole new path, but what pleased me even more than the big twist was the clever placement of the finale (you'll know what i mean when you see it). So all in all this a great film that has a few flaws but under the circumstances is probably the best possible sequel that could've been made by new director. He really lucked out!

Thnx for the review. My friend and I may go see the movie. We're gonna go see it next weekend. And narrator, we need to have a lil chit chat.

You'll have to forgive me for this one narrator! I loved the movie to DEATH...it had a great plot, a great twist of events ~ but i don't think it was violent enough, and frankly I don't understand why everyone was saying it was the "Goriest film ever seen". I thought kill bill vol 1 was more violent but in a more comic way

I think MPAA guidelines probably prohibit the kind of violence I am fantasizing about, for movies in general.

Anyhoo ... I have a macabre sense of amusement. Torture makes me laugh. It seriously makes me L. O. L. ... for instance Land of the Dead, I was the only one cracking up when the zombies were tearing people apart limb from limb. That movie was so politically / graphically suggestive, they took it out of theatres around where I live ( the antihero skateboard had something to do with politics I heard). I also heard Land of the Dead was based on actual books by George A. Romero. Loved that series FIDDLERS GREEN Freakin great.

I personally think you could have a WAY better job at directing SAW II than the original, director, narrator! No BS, either...you'd probably find a way to fit all that sick twisted stuff in between the lines.

I just saw the movie today and all I have to say is that it was amazing. It was very well constructed. It fit perfectly with the first and had and ending that gave me goosebumps. Now I can't wait to see if another comes out. But until then I will be playing the theme song all day long.
