Thread: one piece anime

4Kids has always done a shitty job in anything they do
they only got one thing right and that was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
suprisingly, they did a pretty decent job
but when it comes to anime.... ugh...
why, oh why, did they get their own channel?
4 Kids TV... a morning full of crap...

THe english dubs are crap. THe voices just sound really blah and the openning song or was it ending where the guy is rapping. Goes somethinkg like yo yo yo.... and some other stuff. Ill stick to the mangas and subbed versions.

lol sanji's voice in the us dub lol nuff said.

you guys should download the japanese version, subbed up to ep 167 and still going.

Ugh, Luffy's voice is pretty bad dubbed and Sanji's cigarette is a freaking lolly pop. How the hell is Smoker supposed to be Smoker without a cigar? I mean come on, I'm as anti-smoking as those Truth campagins, but if they're going to censor something that bad, they should just find another series that's squeaky clean.

One Piece is full of violence, blood, and foul language for a reason. It is as much a part of the series as much as the story. Cleaning it up just completely changes the feel of the whole anime. It's so wrong to sanitize it that badly.

I agree with LordSilent, watch the K-F subs (they do an excellent job, very thorough and professional). If you want to keep up with Japan, you can always watch the raws which are up to 247 I think.

i stick to the manga personaly

uuumm blood makes it kind of more interesting, I u know what Im saying, but not a lot of blood, then it turns to a really creapy anime and I dont think most of the people like to see oceans of blood... ~_~
