And port forwarding. Gosh, can't anyone just make a site with step by step information. What info I should have, what info I need to get, how to get it, and what exactly to do once I have all the Info.

Since lots of ppl finish the dl and closes the BT, I tryed lots of FAQS about speeding up the BT DL rate... but none worked well.
About Port opening... don´t do it... It´s useless, basically the BT server won´t allow 2 same ip´s connected to faster de DL... All BT Clients have ports pre-defined for security... try opening more ports will only makes your PC more vulnerable.
I heard this rumor too: Some good BT Trackers keep some records of IPs that are good or bad seeders, and they keep controlling the DL/UL rates to 1:1.

Well I have opened 18 ports and it is working well. I used to get a rate of 20 to 40 kb/s, but after i opened those ports the donwloading rate is between 100 to 200 kb/s. It also depends on the number seeders of the file that you are downloading.
just dont forget to use peer guardian
Grr, how do I open ports! I want to open port 60000. My pc isn't stealthng that port, but, it's still closed so that does no good. How to I open it!
