OK just read the wild news that Otakon is now being capped at 22,000 this year for memberships. Since I guess we destroyed that last year its easy to say this number will be met pretty quick. SO if your going you better freakin pre-reg once it opens. We need to all start checking daily to see when they have pre-reg up and then go ahead and do it. I'll throw something up when I see it or if one of you lets me know its open.

I took 20,899 with a 20% growth and that makes 25,086.8

yeah its steadily grown the last 5 years, so they are anticipating I'm sure around 30 and knew they couldn't handle that size. It just isn't possible even in that large convention center. So only makes sense I kinda figured it would be like this eventually
Funny how you guys say the convention has only gotten worse.

I'm just trying to get an idea of a big manga/anime event like Otakon
well it was just bad in comparison to prior years IMO beacuse of the lack of a few events I always looked forward to each year. But I'm still ready for the next one. I enjoy the trip
Yeah, it got worse because with each year they took something out. This year they took out MAT, that was one of the better things to do at Otakon.
