![]() ![]() Credits: 1,234 | [PhotoShop Tutorial] Cool Abstract OK so I desided I would post a tutorial on how to make some abstract art so here it is.. Open Photoshop ang open a new document lets say 500x500 pixels. Background transparent. Before you get started press D to reset your color pallet so you have a black forground and a white background. OK when you have that done pick your Gradiant tool. OK when you have your gradiant tool goto mode under the menu bar and select Difference and just go crazy with it Should get something like this ![]() Now that your done with that hit ctrl+j to duplicate the layers. Goto Filter->Distort->Wave. leave as is and hit the randomize button till you come up with something you like then hit OK and set the blending properties to lighten Hit ctrl+e to mege the layers Should have something like this ![]() once again hit ctrl+j to duplicate the layer Now goto filter->distort->twril and set all the way to the right or set it to 777 and hit OK. Now goto filter->distort->Polor Coordinates select polor to rectangular and hit OK Set the blending mode to lighten and you should have something like this ![]() Then add your colro or what ever you want in it and there you go ![]()

| Newbie | Re: [PhotoShop Tutorial] Cool Abstract So that's how you made that adorable background for your siggie.^^ LOL.. great tutorial though, it makes abstract work seem so easy to create. So much easier to digest and comprehend then most tutorials I've seen on the net! We need more of this around!!
