Pirates vs. Ninjas

Ok... this is something I've been wanting to bring here for a while. Which is cooler? Pirates... or Ninjas...? I mean, Pirates are evil scourges of the seas that plunder and steal and kill and maim and steal some more. Ninjas, however, use all kinds of sweet weapons, and sneak and jump and kill and steal, too.

Which is cooler in your opinion, and why?

Hmmm... don't know actually... granted, they have some similarities, but to choose which of the two is cooler... Ninja's do have awesome abilities which pirates don't have, ninja's however don't act on their own, but have someone who hires them to do things for them... Pirates don't have that problem: they are free to do whatever they want and go wherever they wanna go... Hard choice here... nope... can't choose... both groups have some 'qualities' I like which make them cool...

Ahh i go with pirates they are so much cooler, they do what they want when they want, yeah they got a captain and all that but they have so much fun. I ninja is alright but u gotto train so hard to be one it's easyer to be a pirate

But realisticly speaking (I suppose). Ninjas would kick the pirates ass. But i'd still go for pirates because they're bad-ass.

I say pirates.

Ninja didn't actually use a hell of a lot of weapons, couldn't jump as high as your average athlete nowadays, and looking at ninjutsu, it's not terribly effective if you're a Japanese guy versus some big brawany Dutch guy. =P

Forest at night-->Ninja
At sea-->Pirates
Everywhere-->Robots

So robots clearly have a disadvantage...
