Ok, i have been to some many Gimp tutorials that lack in detail. I have a lot of sketches i wish to color, but i really don't get how. I know how to use a paintbrush and stuff, I just need to know how to do the whole layers thing. You know, like you have a layer for skin, and one for hair, and ect. I am so confused though because some tutorials just don't explain in detail.
It just says that after you get your lineart all nice(which i know how to do),then u put a transparent layer above that. But, then they say to use the select by color tool to select all the black, then just paste it to the transparency so that your lineart has a transparent background.
