Thread: A Poem About Writing a Poem

Another attempt,
at a litterary write.
so I sit down,
and I type,
and I type,
and I type.

pecking at the keys,
as fast as my fingers will let me...
dang I screwed...
and I backspace to correct me.

I write about love,
About the girl I wish I could be with.
"Hehe,
I just hope she gives me another kiss!"

so I continue...
then get up and get a few drinks...
dang lost my train of though...
well that just freaking stinks...!

so i remember what i was typing,
and go to key again.
then i finish my little love poem,
and then i hit submit.... again.

"crap... why can't i ever find a word,
other than again...
I think I'll try when..
or tin...
or fin......
or sin..........."
