Wait, since when can normal members post events? This is new to me.
Bonjour all! It is I, Sashacat, the person you probably don't remember from a year or more ago.
Anyway, I am a HUGE butt fan of poetry and I was sad to return to an AO with no poetry section. *sniff sniff*So I would like to hold a poetry contest for all of AO right here in my bloody journal that hasn't been in use for months.
The contest will begin immediantly and will end on October 31 and it will be held in my journal..obviously. So go there to submit your poetry!
I am hoping to show those who shut down the poetry section that there are still indeed those of us who do poetry..we just haven't had time to write it.
What I don't want to see-No love letters since that is the reason why the poetry section was closed.
What I want to see-Your best gosh darn poetry you got! In other words..I'm asking for your souls.j/k j/k.
*The poetry can be on anything
*1st place will recieve props and a drawing from me and a poem to match if they wish. (Most of my art is not seen here on AO since I've gone anthroish and more adult.)
*2nd place will recieve a chibi drawing of anything they wish.
*3rd place will get props and a poem that responds to theirs.
All others will get props...remember..this is to show AO that there are still good poetry writers here.
-If anyone would like to donate to the prize section I would much appreciate it since I'm not rich enough to give money nor talented enough to do wallpapers.

And this is why we hate it when people "pseudo-mod." A whole lot of wrong information gets tossed around.
Sashacat, please take a moment and clear the contest with either Gig or Lord Katsuhito. There is a standing policy of having people get admin approval before running a contest. OK? OK.

I think Zui should enter if it gets approved, he should be a cinch to win considering the kind of poetry i've seen on this site.
Hey, I wrote an awesome poem teh other day about coffee. It's so emo, it just might win.
