Sounds like you've been infected by a Adware/Spyware program... Time to use one of those Spyware cleaners...
For starters, you can try the Microsoft Spyware Removal Beta available at...
http://www.microsoft.com/spyware/
Lately, even though i've had a good run, all of a sudden more and more pop-ups are getting through on my computer, and since it's wireless internet on my laptop it happens out of nowhere when i'm not even on the net at the moment. I sometimes use Internet Explorer, but mostly use Mozilla FireFox. I was just wondering, is there any software or anything i can get to help stop the pop-ups? (i'm sure you all know how annoying they are...)

you can get a pop-up killer like po-up killer 4.0 you can find it at www.download.com
Thank you VERY MUCH! I'm using the spyware removal right now so if it's spyware it's gone! And i'm gonna check out the pop-up killer 4.0 in a couple minutes, thanks to both of you very much. I really appreciate it. Especialy for my laptop, my parents are WAY too concerned about it so if anything happened to it they'd kill me... Again, thank you.
but do beware you don't remove all the spyware, some came with freeware that you might be using
'Cause you give me something / That makes me scared, alright / This could be nothing / But I'm willing to give it a try / Please give me something
'Cause someday I might call you from my heart
There are a few that you have to manually remove from your system that many free anti-spyware programs can't touch. If you still have this issue after you run your program, check your control panel under add/remove programs, and look for anything suspicious: 180 search assistant, hippo software, toolbars, etc.
remove them here, and then erase any leftover folders.
