1. What Printer are you Using???
2. Have you gone to the printer Manufacture's website for the latest driver version???
I recently cleaned my computer, and I had to unplug everything, and for some reason my printer wont connect to the computer, but when I plug it in, it says "New hardware found" so it obviously IS connected. It tells me to insert the installation disc, and when I do it says that there is some files missing for driver installation
Any ideas?

Its a Lexmark Z23 Z23, and I have the latest drivers =|
ah yes stupid lexmark, I have an all in one myself and finds out the disc doesnt work...what you have to do is go to the lexmark website and download this .exe file which is the drivier for your printer, after downloading just install and it should work

Cool thanks pyoro, i got hella stuff to print and it pisses me off when I can't heh.
Yeah I got so pissed with my lexmark i simply gave it up and went to get a laser black and white printer, it's so much betterOriginally Posted by Dreadhawk
