I can uncertainly say, that both systems suck, and what you really need to buy is the nintendo revolution. Not buying this system proves you are just a fool who likes pretty graphics, not gameplay.
Ok, that's just me being a prick, but in all seriousness, I'd choose the PS3 over XBOX anyday. Halo's good, but FF is better.

they got some good games, but there was a dry spell of good games lately
the Nintendo DS on the other hand has great games like Nintendogs (if you don't like it then too bad), Castlevania, and Advance Wars Dual Strike
