No, I wouldn't say it's depressing. It might actually be kinda inspirational, to someone else who shares a love of anime and games. Plus it's about wanting to live, which in itself is positive. Pretty nice poem.
Why you might ask is the reason I strive to live each day,
What makes my gears turn, why do I excessivley have a need for anime, for games,
The reason you ask is the joy of getting past that "unbeatable" level,
The joy of finding new titles of anime each day,
To explore the world of anime and gaming, finding that i dont know as much as I think
I take a pride in that, knowing that I live for the solemn fact of taking peace within anime and gaming
I strive to live each day.

I think someones a lil addicted to games, heehee, probally the most of us,
I like it, its short and powerfull (not depressing) i would give it a 8.5, o yeah why do you want to talk to me, im just nikon, that all.
