Rebirth of the Fire temple-story
The great mountain stood above all other things in the world. One looking from its peek could see for hundreds of miles around over the desolate wasteland that was the planet. This slab of rock was once a mighty volcano, spewing forth rivers of magma and lava. When the energy of the world began to die, however, its power began to fail. Like all other things on this planet, it began to die. Over time the lava flows slowed down and the climate grew colder. It is now a frozen peak, with no heat escaping its top. Yet, it may be possible to restart this volcano, and begin again its mighty flow.
Korin began to move up from the bottom of the mountain and climb up its mighty slopes. He clung to the frozen sides with a strength a living man could not muster. The cold and frigid air did not bother him, for he had no flesh for which it could irritate. Korin went higher and higher up the cliff, desperately seeking the mountain top. After hours of difficult climbing he reached the summit, and looked beneath him at the dead world around him.
