Agree, there is no need to have a huge amount of text in any signature...
I'm thinking of adding the following to the rules in reguards to text (with Admin approval of course, ie, the point of this thread):
To be perfectly honest people are really starting to bug me with the amount of text they are putting in their signatures. I'd add a words per line limit to that rule, but since I don't exactly know how much would be too much i'm just going to assume saying it like that is fine. What do you all think?Use no more than 4 lines of text. A blank line also counts as a line. If it can't be said in 4 lines or less don't bother to put it in your signature. If you have an image in your signature already use no more than 2 lines of text. Max text size allowed in any signature is size 2.

That's fine with me. I've always used between 3-5 lines of text as a starting point to see if someone's text was too long.
go ahead and add it to the rules. When we move servers (hopefuly by the end of tomorrow) I will install a sig limiter to the forum
yes, it actually used to be in there specifically, but kinda got muffled to interpretation so just be clear about it
