I look into myself,
and see what i thought i'd never see.
I see love... but there is something else...
something hidden beneath it.
I see years of pain,
and daily struggles there.
somehow though...
the pain of the past slowly is fading.
however, i see the daily pains grow,
even bigger than days before,
lashing at what I have now.
the love i have for others keeps it back,
but the containment of it might not last,
as long as i wish it to,
for the people I care about "here".
the one's i care about "here"...
they doubt me.
they doubt my ways and motives.
they don't know me anymore.
my life is mine to decide.
I peer deeper into myself,
and see what I wanted to see.
"you" know what I see.
I don't see myself "here" anymore,
I see it in another place.
the pain i have cannot follow me to this place...
and this place is where I'll stay till I die.
such is my reflection...
leaving is my fate....
and such is the reflection.

I appluad your cryptic lines. My favorite part was:

I can relate to that in particular. I personaly think that the majority of people could relate to the poem. I wonder if this poem was written from your heart not creativity, this poem shows raw emotions of everyday people.

The thing you have to realize with me, is that I normally don't write without emotion. That's what makes my works unique is that most of them is heart felt, like this one.
