Nope sorry buddy. That's not true at all. Capcom stated that it's only going to be for the gamecube to complete the collection and also because them and nintendo made a deal. It was reported in ign.com if you want proof.

Have you not kept up with the news? They will be doing RE4 for the PS2 from the ground up to take advantage of the Ps2 since it can't handle the GC build. The reason why they are brining it to the PS2 is because capcom doesn't think it will sell that great on the GC. Good thing right now is that RE4 is exclusive to the GC for a full year and the PS2 version wont look as good or play as good compared to the gamecube version.

^Yeah what he said, RE4 is coming back to PS (around fall 2005 I presume).

If RE4 does really well on the GC it might not even make it to the PS2.

RE4 is gonna be great! When I was playing the demo I didnt know leon can kick the people when they get to close. THis game is going to be crazy.
