What are the most famous rhetorical questions that no one can answer. I like these two:
1.) If a tree falls in the middle of the forest, and no one's around to hear it, does it make a sound?
2.) What was the best thing before sliced bread?
What are more?

You forgot "What is the sound of one hand clapping???"

Now from the Scientific point of view, the answer to question 1 is "Yes, Of course it makes a sound as a result of the pressure waves generated by the impact with the ground" Question 1 is Rhetorical only in the context of an argument that something is only real if it is observed. From the Scientific point of view, the presence/non-presence of an observer is irrelevant from the results (that is, until you get to the level of Quantum Physics...)

I tink, one similar question one that i heard was

If someone slams a locker, and no one is around to hear it, does it really happen?
